About the school

A broad program of continuous training improves company productivity and customer service by constantly upgrading employees' skills and expertise. Action Electric offers a state approved school based on the National I.E.C. training curriculum, which allows us to train from entry level to the most advanced technical skills. Our students attend weekly classes for 4 years in order to meet the requirements.

Registration

Registration will be completed the first night of class, only after tuition has been paid for the attendance year.

School Rates

The I.E.C. Apprenticeship school tuition for one year is $1,600.00. If the sponsor is an I.E.C. member the tuition for one year will be $1,200.00. This cost includes all books and study related materials. The cost of tuition can either be paid in full before start of the first class in the fall, or payments can be broken up into two semester payments, with the first payment due on or before class starts in the fall. The second payment must be received before January 1, 2009. No students will be admitted to class without payment for the semester paid in full.

Class Schedule

Classes will start September 12th for first and second year students at 5:30 PM. Classes for third and fourth year students will begin September 11th at 5:30 PM. First and second year students will attend class on Tuesday nights, and third and fourth year students will attend class on Monday nights. Classes will be once a week for four hours a night. Any absence from class must be approved prior to being gone.

Curriculum

I.E.C. is a nationally recognized and state approved apprenticeship with classes meeting all requirements of training for the Inside Wireman Apprenticeship Program in accordance with the Montana State Apprenticeship and Training Program.

Classes will be held at 1701 Montana Ave. Billings, MT.
